Advise on someone who want to try Rideshares for money

It's a good challenge for 1 month. The sign up challenge was for a thousand dollars, but I reckon it changes from time to time. If you can clear the sign-up bonus quest, then you are good enough to make it your 2nd job. If you can't then it's not for you. Simple as that.
Start with airports, it always will have a passenger waiting for you. You can also find someone who is nice enough to give you heads up there as well.

  • must have
  1. A lot of states require hands-free set for your phone. Get the kind that has clamps for it, the magnetic / glue / suction cup ones don't last worth shit.
  2. Insurance: don't ever drive dirty.

  • highly recommended but not required
  1. an iphone and android charger(usb type c): because faggots will give you shit review for it
  2. a leather seat cover or seat cushion: way easier to clean car seat with these
  3. all weather(plastic) feet dust catcher: the stock upholstery is going to smell like shit and hard to clean
  4. a detachable plastic sign holder: assholes feel invited to damage your car for having a uber/lyft sign on. You should have a detachable sign and take off the sign when you're not using the car.

  • fucking meme bait
  1. camera: don't fish for passengers in shit neighborhood and you don't need to worry about being robbed. I've seen Uber Man push for it, guess what, he's paid to do it.
  2. water and candy: these are only important to kids but kids are the stingiest reviewers anyway, candy and water are not worth the money
  3. newspapers, magazines, tablets: to be honest if you can get them free from local library there's no reason not to. But they're not worth spending money on.

  • should you buy a car for it
fuck no, do yourself a favor and get into the rental program offered by the rideshare company. I've seen guys who share the rental cars to cut the rental fee as well although it's officially forbidden.
  • what car is best for it
ev or hybrid. Those cars make twice the money for it with half the cost. chevy "b"olt not volt is supposedly the best one.
  • should you do food deliveries
yes, get a sealable thermal bag for it to prevent odorizing your car
  • should you work for multiple rideshare
not the first month, you want to get that sign up bonus and then if you feel confident sign up for the other
  • Where to pick up:
airports, sports arena, and theme parks. these are generous with parking structures and have great rate as well. beaches and bars are win-or-lose, they make horrible passengers and almost always fill your car out by trying to have 7 people fit in a small sedan.
